How they ride So weird! I have been on some kind of not cool blade since 2002... when I first started speedskating. It is a big change. When I fist stepped out onto the ice, the first thing I noticed was the sound. It was a nice crisp type of ring/scrape. I took my first skate and, holy cow I felt like a beginner! My poor brain. It wasn't sure what part of my legs to move, or how. After a some dinkin around and blade shifting, it was better.
Mike Kooreman bent them for me, and when I picked them up he said that he set it up so they would cruise the corner and I'd just have to skate. He was so right! I've never felt corners like that ever! WOW! They just turn. That's going to take time getting used to. People always say, let your blade do the work... mine is in that club now!
Blade Credits:

Today I hopped on the long track to get to know my blades better. It went well. We are pretty good friends.
