I had an amazing experience. Some people are just plain awesome.
Last night I was scheduled to fly home. I took all the necessary steps to be where I needed to be to board my plane. While I was waiting to board, I looked up and saw this guy. I remembered seeing him on my plane to Reno. So weird that we flew over at the same time, but now we're flying back at the same time too. Hm, I thought.
The plane was so tiny. My seat # was 13B. I thought, oh good - I'll get to be in the middle of the plane for once. Upon entering, I was only about 4 inches shorter than the celling. Tiny! I walk back and get to the middle and find that I'm at about row 6. I keep walking back and get to the very last row and guess who is sitting in my row... The guy.
Before I even sat down, I found myself asking him if he had flown over on Monday, and he said that he was just connecting in SLC and that he was from Oregon. It's such a - What are the odds? - situation.
We talked the whole way and it was so awesome! His name is Deon and he's around my age. It was his third time flying, ever. He wore a black leather jacket that he bought for Halloween cause he was Billy Idol. He likes to paint ball. He works at Outback Stake House and said if I ever go in, that he'd hook me up. He wants to be a video game designer and likes to draw. He thinks I'm cool. People like that just rock.
It was just so fun! The flight went by so fast! There are some people that you just hit it off with and he and I did. We didn't exchange info, other than were we live and work, but that could be enough.
Well I am back at work and so glad to be. From here on out no more missing it for a long time! I am getting ready to move in with some skater friends and that is going to be a blast of fun! It'll be more of a drive to and from my places I go, but oh well! Gotta get packing!

No phone numbers, e-mails, myspace pages? Nothing at all except where he works? Well now you have to go to Outback and see if he's there. Maybe he'll leave his number on the receipt :)
