STWC

New pictures are up on the site from the Short Track World Cup. It was a fun nonstop weekend. I am so excited for Sunday afternoon to roll around. I'm gunna do some chillaxing.

We built this city...

Bewteen races we were kinda bored. The bag of foam pucks was just sitting there screaming out to us.


I love this shot. There are more pictures that I am going to work on getting out into the vastness of the internet world.


Short Track is an amazing sport. During the times I was able to watch and enjoy the races I could over hear people's energetic conversations with one another about how cool it was. Their faces were just lit up with excitement and amazement. Then when the US was out on the ice, the crowd roared at every pass that was made.

My job title this weekend was a Runner/Technical Volunteer. There was a handful of us and we would have to wait for the start lists and results to be printed out and signed by the referee then we would make copies and distribute them to various areas such as: Media, Broadcasting Truck, VIP, Athlete Area, Doping, all the Coaches and so on.

I had only one area to run to because I had to play photographer as well. I was running all over the place... and I thought I was going to have the weekend off from a workout. It was fun.
