Hiking

Sunday morning Nick was in the kitchen looking out the back door and said something like, -We are going to the top of that one. I had no idea what he was talking about but none the less we got our stuff together and headed out the door.

We went to the same place as last time: North Salt Lake Trail. As we started it was nice. There was a little snow, mostly dirt. We reached the destination of our first hike, back at the beginning of March, and I was ready to stop. That wasn't going to happen. Trekking through snow, mud, rocks and a lot of uphills we made it to our turn around point. It wasn't as far as Nick wanted to go, but I thought it was a fine place to stop for this trip.

My legs were dead. The weather was pretty good though! We relaxed on top of a mountain for a bit and enjoyed some sun and the view... then it just started snowing out of the blue. That was interesting. It didn't last long thankfully. After a few pictures and seeing a storm rolling in we started back to civilization as we know it. Some of those hills we went down were so steep. I don't know how I made it up them!

Once getting home and in comfy clothes a little baseball was enjoyed. It was the Tigers and White Sox. Well, the Tigers didn't do so hot, but I got to see Pudge and take a nap.

**After the way I feel right now, I wish we would have done the hike Saturday because my whole body hurts and it could use a rest day. Off to work and skating.
