Yesterday I had the joyous opportunity to attend the long awaited Skater Party - Hill Climb Challenge at Don's house up in Park City. For starters all in all it was a great evening and I don't think anyone was disappointed.
Backing up to the beginning of the morning, I got up and headed to the Oval for ice practice. The long track national team all-rounders joined us for a bit of ice time. That went weird. Following that, a few of us had to finish up with some dryland. Before heading home to shower and get all fixed up, we had to make a few pit stops for passengers and gear. Before we knew it we were on the road up to Don's. And by we I mean: Nick, Jon, Mia, Gabi & myself.
We got to the gate and saw a few fellow skaters gearing up for the ride. We dropped off Nick and Jon's bikes and went to the house to wait for anyone else that may need a ride back down the hill. Soon we piled into the back of the truck and enjoyed the 5miles back down the hill to meet with everyone else.

It was set that I would photograph while riding in a car. Mia and Gabi were deemed my assistants and came with in Ricardo's car as he was to lead the bikers with a sign taped on the front of his car warning oncoming traffic of the race. We got to the half way point and got dropped off so we could photo all the riders as they made a turn to continue on. That went well. We hitched a ride with the ending car to the finish line and the indoor party began.
Check out the pictures. I put them on Picasa since there were so many. Feel free to take what you want for your cool Facebook/MySpace/...whatever else pages. Remember, if there is a wicked cool shot and you you think - Hey I'd like to have that on my wall - or - Aw, nice for the folks... I can hook you up.
