AAAHHH

All in all, my internet is down for the count at my home. It was last working... Friday. That was 4 days ago! What originally happened was, the bill didn't get paid, so it of course got flipped off. Monday it was back in action, but for some reason my computer won't pick it up. It will say it's connected, but when I try to go to a website it won't work.

Thus: this pictureless post.

Sunday evening I went down to Spanish Fork to take some family pictures for my bestest friend in the whole entire universe. We go back to like, 7th grade. I hope to be able to show off those pictures soon. We went to Salem Pond at around 4:30. The colors of the sky and the snow was perfect! It was 29 freezing degrees out, so I didn't get as many shots as I would have liked to have got. We'll just have to have a spring/summer shoot.

This Thursday marks race #3 for the season. It's gunna be different. It will be on home ice for the first time this season. I am excited to improve on what I have built so far. Racing is so different than practice.

-The first race I didn't really have anything in mind. I got tired fast and my legs burned out.
-The second race, I wanted to finish each race without being dead. I felt really good. I learned that I can do the distances if I skate my body smart.

This third race, I'm not 100% sure what I want to accomplish yet. When you have a goal in mind it helps so much! It takes away the nervousness and you focus on something rather than the obvious, coming out of it with positive.

And one more cool thing!: Last night I went for an off ice workout. I just wanted to work on some endurance stuff. I really don't like running, but I am determined to see what it has to offer me. Last night I ran my slotted time +1 minute... and could've gone longer. I stopped because I was satisfied. I did what I wanted plus a little more. When I first moved back to SLC a year ago, I couldn't make it once around the track. Now I can do a few laps without thinking about it. CRAZY! I've never run a mile without stopping, before this year. Now I can. I couldn't even do one low walk, now I can do 5 minutes intervals of 30 second low walk, baby steps, jog. So fun!

If you don't work out, you should!

I remember the first time I was able to run an entire mile without stopping. It wasn't a fast mile, but I ran the whole way, and it felt awesome! Congrats on all your improvements! I'm glad that you're getting your legs under you(no pun intended)
