Skater Banquet & Pres

Today was fun. It was the day of the WSSA skater banquet. Included in that was the debut of the slide show that I created. So, I get to the Oval and all set up for the show.

First up for business was the handing out of the plaques and medals for the skaters who skated in 3 or more of the races and got first place. I did! Former long track Olympians: Derek Parra and Catherine Raney were the presenters!


Next we ate and watched the slide show. I must say, I was impressed by the reaction of the people. I was glad I was able to do it and for the help I got. There was some raffle drawings going on, followed by the club meetings of the Association. Park City did their thing, and the Oval was next. We had to determine a new presidency, and.... I was nominated for the job, as, President. So TAH-DAH!
