We are back from camping!
Friday evening we left the valley and arrived at camp around 6ish. It was drizzling so getting the tent up was a quick priority. We got camp all set up and started dinner. Hamburgers and pasts salad were on the menu. After that private function Nick built a fire and we took some pictures and had fun with the slow shutter. After the fire dwindled it was bed time. That night the rain came down!
Saturday morning we got up to a little bit on sun. For breakfast we had some pancakes, eggs and bacon. It was pretty delish! Nick set up the tarp over the tables in case of more rain and it was quick to get used. The rain came and went all day unpredictably. Nick brought his laptop so we were able to watch movies in the tent. For lunch we had some sub sandwiches with fresh deli meat! Sometime between rain storms we were able to walk around other campgrounds. For dinner we had baked potatoes, hamburgers, hot dogs, pasta salad and whatever else was left to eat. It rained some more. (Pretty eventful...)
This morning we got up and it was blue skies across the board. We got all packed up and wanted to get home so we could set the tent up in the front yard to let it dry since it was soaking! We got home around noon, got unpacked, got laundry going and have been relaxing.
