Neck Guards save Lives

A few times a week I go film the FAST short track practice so they can analyze themselves. A couple weeks ago there was a life threatening crash and if not for protective equipment there would have been a slight decapitation.

The girls group was coming into the corner and one of the boys wasn't paying attention while resting and made a sudden move in front of the girls group. It resulted in Vicky falling and cutting KD's shoulder and under her chin. The whole thing would have been a million times worse if KD wasn't wearing her neck guard.
