New Plants

A few weeks ago I got a bunch of different kinds of bulbs and didn't really have anywhere to plant them. In cleaning out the fridge I though the empty jars would be delightful.

Flower Power: Not so much.

Time has passed and so has the lives of the flowers.

Pretty Flowers, Pretty Soon

In just one week my tulips grew a good 10 inches! I just noticed the bulbs today. I'm so excited to see them open up! Yesterday, I started my food garden. I planted some broccoli, cherry tomatoes and regular tomatoes indoors. In a few weeks they will be ready to be transplanted outside along with lettuce, onions & cilantro.

This weekend I bought some cycling gear in effort to be ready for when I get my cycler. I got the gloves, shoes, shorts and socks... All thanks to backcountry.com

Growing Tulips

Two days ago, you saw my collection of plants that I have. Today I was so amazed (like everyday) at how fast my tulips, particularly these two are growing, that I had to take pictures. They have grown at least an inch each in 2 days.

This bulb is growing out of everywhere.

Standing at about 5 inches above the rim, this one is the tallest. It just opened up at the top last night.

I love the rocks! Steph at work got me hooked on this phase of my life (planting bulbs in pots in rocks indoors). Its so amazing and I love it. I could have more, but I am TRYING SO VERY HARD to pace myself.
